About Sarah Moffett – Registered Nurse Practitioner
Sarah Moffett is board-certified as a family nurse practitioner through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She is passionate about building strong relationships with her patients by providing personalized and evidence-based care. She has a special interest in obesity and weight management and she works with the rest of the team to help patients achieve their weight loss goals.
Educational Background
Sarah earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Salisbury University in 2011. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) at Wilmington University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2017.
Her Career
As a nurse, Sarah worked in a variety of different settings including med-surg, progressive care, and endoscopy where she held several clinical leadership roles. While working as an endoscopy nurse, Sarah knew she wanted to expand her knowledge and broaden her role in the direct care of her patients, prompting her to pursue her Master’s degree. Before joining The Silhouette Clinic and Digestive Care Specialists, she worked as a gastroenterology nurse practitioner for 6 years.
Outside of work, Sarah enjoys hiking, going to the beach, watching football, and of course- spending time with her husband, two young daughters, and little beagle.
